Terrible

Previous to today, I haven't really watched any of the Halloween movie franchise.  I'm on the third one called Season of the Witch, and it's horrendous.  There is nothing scary about it.

On a side note for Billy, how goes the battle with reports and whatnot?

Halloween

I put the book down and now tuned into the original Halloween.  Good stuff.  I wonder if people would notice if I pulled a mike Myers around the office by standing at a distance and stare?  The heavy breathing is already covered by quite a few people.  What a crappy day for the kiddos to be out tonight.  But I'm still counting on Pork Chop and Meaty to bring home the goods.

Good morning

Hello sunshines, what is everyone up to today?  I'm just tuned into the Sirius radio channels via satellite....there is nothing on tv and I can't get to the basement to grab an Xbox controller to play games or stream shows.  The boys will pay for this oversight on their part.

Feeling better

Hugo was a bit too long for me and thought the automatrons were lame.  But hey, I can't complain too much.  The foot is feeling better.  Stopped taking narcotics for pain, which just wrecked my GI tract.  Lots of coffee and water going forward.

I plan to have the old iPad tomorrow, so chatting will be taking place for those interested (Vinneeee). If anyone is bored, feel free to call as well.

Hugo

Just had a little breakfast and now I'm settling in for a showing of the movie Hugo.  Boy, this is the life.

3 days into this...

Just got back from Rochester today....but just three days into this and already the payroll and HR  situation is messed up.  Pork chop, pass me another Vicodin.  The most unsettling aspect about the payroll and HR claims is that they "assured" me last Wednesday that they have all of the necessary paperwork from me and my doctor and they won't need anything more from me until about three weeks from returning to work.  I don't mind follow up calls from these people, but don't call asking me what surgery I just had and then drop the bomb that the doctor form they received was incorrect.  Haha.....

Sorry, this is a very Debby Downer post and i promise to not burden you with anymore sad face posts.

Relaxing....

Just watching the Aliens marathon on AMC.  Bill Paxton is brilliant in the second movie.  The nerve block is wearing off now and the terminator foot is sore today.

Under the knife

The plan is to reconstruct the posterior tibial tendon by transferring my little toe tendon over to the side of my big one.  Then, for more stability they will fracture my heel (sp?) and move that over as well.  85% success rate and no bone fusion will be needed.  The important thing in all of this is that the paratechs inflatable sun is hanging in the office once again.

Here is my foot post first surgery and up to the surgery Friday:

And here is what my new foot will look like:

Busy last day..

Busy last day....had to help old team hang an inflatable sun in the office.  Not sure the reason for starting an e-ticket for this task, and I'm also not sure the obsession with the sun.  Thanks, Tim, for getting me involved.  I also need to trim toenails tonight.

Someday....

I will be back to doing the simple things.

I'm getting nervous

I feel my inner strength waning as I prepare for the surgery.  I was tough a few months ago, but now I am scared.

Up and Running

This is a concept blog to help people understand just what happens post foot surgery.  People often wonder "Hey, what is that healing foot up to", and this blog should hopefully help answer that question.
